Indian troops martyr five Kashmiris

SRINAGAR: Indian troops in a latest act of state terrorism martyred five Kashmiri youth in Shopian district of occupied Kashmir on Saturday, according to a report of the Kashmir Media Service.
The troops killed the youth during a violent cordon and search operation in Kilora area of the district.
Meanwhile, forceful anti-India demonstrations erupted in the area with Indian troops and police using brute force to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes. At least twenty protesters sustained injuries in the brutal actions of the forces.
District Hospital sources told media that 20 injured civilians have been brought to the hospital for treatment. They said five injured were referred to a hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment.
They added that one of the injured has been hit by a bullet in his shoulder while four others were hit by pellets.
The authorities have suspended mobile internet services in Shopian district to prevent people from sharing information about the latest situation.
